The grind stamp is located at the firewall end of a Nissan cam. This one is a "C" grind from a 1974 260z L26 motor

The "C" stamp cam is a Nismo cam, It is listed as a "high performance cam". The Nissan part # is13001-N3626. The lift and duration is:.434"/256 degrees:

 

Yup, Nissan cams are made from tough cast metal! Look at these:

If cam has  "CWC" lettering, use stock valve springs, or you will trash the lobes. 
The CWC casting does not have the correct metallurgy to run the comp springs.
 If you want to run "comp" springs, get a reputable re-grinder (such as ISKY) to regrind a cam for you......one that has "JAPAN" cast onto it

The crane springs and retainers are very nice! Get the spring and retainers from Summit racing for 145.00 or buy them from British Victoria for 230.00.
I just installed a set last weekend and I'm very happy with them. You will need an air compressor and a datsun valve spring compressor to do the job with the head on the block.
The springs can handle over 0.500 lift and stack at 0.600+. Plus they not overly sfiff like the schnider springs.
Make sure to also buy the retainers! Very important to use the crane retainers with the crane springs.
The retainers have a deeper lash pad hole to handle the thicker lash pads. If thick lash pads are used with stock retainers then the engine will sound like a diesel.
And the crane retainer raises the installed height by 0.050" to allow more lift before the retainer hits the oil seal.
